In the early 1990’s The Persian Carpet began to design, produce and import its own proprietary rugs lines. This selection includes a specialty line of British Arts and Crafts and American Prairie Style carpets that are sold worldwide. A new division of the business, Southwest Looms, produces two lines of carpets inspired by the American Southwest.

Doug and Nelda Lay travel abroad every year, hand selecting individual carpets based on beauty, quality and uniqueness. With their daughter Cynthia, and her husband, Bruce McLaren, they are focused on locating and acquiring the rug that is just right for you.
